How long should the shear stress be applied to the cell layer before doing the analysis?

The adaptive response of cells to mechanical shear stress can take up to several days. Depending on which marker you are investigating, it may be therefore necessary to condition the cell layer for up to several days before analysis. We recommend testing the parameter of interest in a long-term experiment to determine the optimal time point of measurement
